Two Vascular Centers in Italy Received IUA Accreditation

Vascular centers in Cosenza and Siena have successfully completed the IUA accreditation program.

The European Commission for Accreditation of Vascular Centers, an official body of the International Union of Angiology, has confirmed accreditation of vascular centers of Regional General Hospital "Annunziata” in Cosenza (Calabria) and Policlinico "Santa Maria Alle Scotte"University Hospital in Siena (Tuscany). Both vascular centers proved that they provide high-level multidisciplinary care and operate in compliance with the Guidelines for the Organisation of Vascular Centres in Europe.

Certificates of accreditation were presented to representatives of both vascular centers by Professor Fabrizio Benedetti Valentini, Chairman of the Commission, at the Town Hall in Lyon, France, during the 27th IUA World Congress.
