30th IUA World Congress in Porto Alegre

The 30th IUA World Congress was held at the Pontifical Catholic University in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Around 1000 people attended the congress or were involved in its organization.

The congress was very successful. We had dozens of simultaneous sessions, some with the speakers' virtual participation. We attended the world premiere of the Global Thrombosis Forum and had the opportunity to catch up on the hottest topics in our specialty.

It was our reunion with face-to-face events. Hug friends, look them in the eyes, and exchange experiences. At last, we all hoped to have left the dark times behind.
